Freya is a Graduate Consultant at Roberts Environmental Ltd in the Soil and Land Management team, where she specialises in the delivery of Agricultural Land Classification (ALC) assessments for a wide range of large-scale projects. Freya holds a Bachelor’s degree in Equine Science from Oxford Brookes University and a Master’s degree in Soils and Sustainability from the University of Edinburgh, where she developed specialist knowledge in soil science, sustainable land management, and agricultural resources.
Since joining REL in 2026, Freya has gained hands-on experience in soil surveys, Agricultural Land Classification assessments, and the implementation of Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) projects, with a particular focus on soil resource management and sustainable land use.
With a strong background in agriculture and a passion for sustainable land management, Freya is committed to protecting soil as a vital natural resource. She recognises the fundamental role that soils play in supporting productive agriculture, biodiversity, climate resilience, and long-term environmental sustainability. Drawing on her agricultural knowledge and specialist understanding of soil science, she strives to deliver practical, evidence-based recommendations that support sustainable land management while continuing to develop her expertise within the sector.
