How long have you worked at Roberts Environmental?
Since September 2013
Describe your role within the firm.
As director I am involved in every aspect of the company from business development, management of people and projects, to hands on site work.
What attracted you to a career in the geo environmental sector?
The job offered a good range of prospects and opportunities. In addition, I get the chance to work with and alongside a diverse group of people from a spectrum of backgrounds, including the corporate sector to site operatives (drillers, machine drivers etc.)
What do you enjoy most about your job?
The variability in the day to day tasks and never really knowing what the day might hold.
What projects have you recently worked on?
A Lidl project has been in the system for a while, the site has an extensive historic legacy and there are numerous challenges to overcome to get the development moving and we have had to employ an extensive range of ground investigation techniques to provide the client with the required information.
Any favourite line from a movie?
You’re are going to need a bigger boat!
