Biography

Rachel is a Consultant at Roberts Environmental, having previously completed an industrial placement at REL in 2020/2021 as a part of her undergraduate degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of Nottingham. She has since undertaken a masters degree in Environmental Consultancy at Newcastle University. Through her studies and work with Roberts Environmental, Rachel has gained a solid background in understanding contamination in both terrestrial and aquatic environments, with focuses on Aqueous Geochemistry, Remediating Contaminated Land, Hazardous Waste Management, Sources, Fates and Controls of Pollutants and Chemistry in the Environment. Rachel provides support to the Roberts Environmental team with both site works and reports, including Phase I Environmental Assessments, Phase II Site Investigations, Due Diligence reports and Coal Mining Risk Assessments.
