Roberts Environmental Limited Strengthens Leadership Following the Promotion of Kieran Tappin and Ben Lawry
Roberts Environmental Limited has announced promotions from both its Newcastle and London offices.
The geo-environmental consultancy, which provides development and investment advice in conjunction with site investigation services on behalf of UK property owners, is delighted to announce the promotion of two of its staff. The promotions reflect the enhancement of the senior management structure to support the continued success and growth of Roberts Environmental Limited.
Kieran joined the team in 2020 as a consultant and through his tenure at Roberts Environmental to date he has worked on numerous small to large-scale geotechnical and geo-environmental projects across the UK for an array of clients including care home providers, supermarkets, regeneration firms and housebuilders. Kieran has a strong background in the technical aspects of projects and continues to demonstrate a pragmatic commercial awareness providing cost effective advice and solutions on the projects undertaken.
We are delighted to announce the promotion of Kieran to Senior Consultant.
In 2021 Ben headed up the first London Office for Roberts Environmental to enable it to meet the needs of its existing clients and support a growing market demand for its Geo-environmental and Sustainability services.
Over the past year, Ben has been instrumental in growing Roberts Environmental Limited’s’ southern based operations, the development of new service lines and embedding sustainability throughout the business model and operational practices.
We are delighted to announce the promotion of Ben to Associate Director – Head of ESG and Sustainability.
Ben Lawry added: “I am very excited to continue to lead the London office and drive the implementation of our new ESG and Sustainability services. I am extremely proud to have the opportunity to spearhead the REL teams’ effort on sustainability at such an important time for our planet and society. As I look ahead, I hope to help existing and new clients navigate the risks and opportunities on the horizon”.
Kieran and Ben’s promotion follows the hiring of Emma Locke as Finance Manager, Phoebe Sowerby as Graduate Sustainability Consultant and welcoming Rachel Stephenson back to the business as Graduate Geo-Environmental Consultant having gained a distinction for her Master Degree in Environmental Consultancy from Newcastle University.

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
